John Marohl

John Marohl is a Senior Consultant at Marohl Consulting, Inc. He specializes in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Process Improvement and Executive Coaching. Mr. Marohl works with leaders in Finance, Technology, Pharmaceutical and Distribution organizations to align their strategic planning, human resource practices and business processes to improve bottom line results. His professional experience includes leading the world-wide learning and leadership development programs for the NCR Corporation, the US learning and talent management programs for Banco Popular and the US learning and talent management operations for a division of Ernst & Young. Mr. Marohl has also managed Software Distribution, Quality Assurance, Disaster Recovery Services, Marketing and Sales organizations and worked in college administration as an Associate Dean of Students.

His expertise as a facilitator and instructor include programs in executive development, leadership, change management, strategic initiatives, performance improvement, client service, team building and performance management. Partial list of clients include: GlaxoSmithKline, Motorola, KPMG Canada, Pulte Homes, Horace Mann, and Astronautics Corporation of America. Mr. Marohl instructs the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management's "Leading Global Virtual Teams" program.

John's background includes leading line, staff and start-up organizations, managing multi-site, domestic and international training & development operations, including the direct supervision of over 350 employees and strategic direction for 650 employees in 54 countries. He has led corporate reorganizations for divisions of up to 8,000 employees and been the project leader for strategic, worldwide organizational change.

He completed the Ernst & Young 9 month executive coaching program and is a certified facilitator, earning his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Mr. Marohl is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers, the American Society of Training and Development and has been a speaker at the Corporate University Summit and the Training Managers Round Table.
