I have known Nicole for over one year as we participated in the same cohort during the Columbia University Executive and Organizational Coaching Certification program. There are many "coaching" programs available in the marketplace, but none is as rigorous as the Columbia program. The Columbia program is very intense in that it does require onsite attendance, significant practicum participation and guided observation, detailed outside coaching practice, and an evidenced-based research project. Because I was also in the same practicum section as Nicole, I not only got to know her as a person but I also developed a deep respect for her skills as a professional coach.

Nicole is a thoughtful coach whose entry skills into the coaching conversation are surpassed by few. I know that she has had professional experience as an internal coach, but the learning at Columbia has made a dramatic difference in her career capabilities. Upon entry with a client, she deftly co-creates the relationship so that the client feels comfortable and learns to self-direct the session's purpose and meaning. On occasions when I have observed Nicole in practice, I have often marveled at the ease with which she conveys meaning, patiently waits for the signals to advance, and encourages the client's space to grow in the session.

Again, it is with great pleasure that I recommend Nicole to you.

Sincerely,

"Nicole was an influential manager and role model during my time as one of 28 Trainees in the Graduate Development Program. We were the first class to go through a completely new model of the program that Nicole developed to align with the needs of both the organization and entry level talent in the industry. The program not only exposed us to a variety of departments which grew our business knowledge, but also had a unique focus on leadership skills and ongoing development. Nicole consistently provided new opportunities for Trainees to learn and grow in a safe environment that would challenge us and be beneficial in our careers. Her coaching and developmental skills were such that I learned and grew more in just 16 months than in many of my other experiences combined. Nicole was able to manage a large group of entry level employees across the country with very different interests and personalities by standing firm to the vision and strategy of the program while being open to feedback and improvements that would better suit the Trainees and the Business. Her ability to develop such a strong program made HSBC a competitive employer for entry level talent and was apparent by both the backgrounds of the classes that she hired and the significant growth in the retention of Trainees."
